International Yoga Day has been celebrated every year on June 21 since 2015, after its creation at the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. This year, all of Quebec will mark this special day organized by YogaTribes which will be broadcasted live to the other side of the Atlantic, in partnership with The World Wellness Weekend.
On the program for this unique day, with our guest of honor Natasha St-Pier, singer, will be a talk and Masterclasses hosted by some of the best in the nation and France. The Talk which will be in French is free to join and will be held under the theme “Yoga and its benefits, a must in times of a global pandemic” From 9:00 EST for 90 minutes, the lively discussion with renowned guests such as Hervé and Lidija Blondon, from the Satyam Yoga school, Scott Simons, president of Organik Santé corporative, Mélody Benhamou, founder of Idolem Hot Yoga, Shabad Khalsa, Master of Kundalini, from Quebec. While from France, Natasha St-Pier will be joined by Patricia Nagelmackers from Tayrona Yoga and Élodie Garamond, founder of Tigre Yoga, who will join the discussion. Everything will be moderated by Jean-Guy de Gabriac, founder of the World Weekend Wellness, and Sophie Lymburner, founder of YogaTribes. A must-attend event!
The “Master Class” classes offered throughout the day will be led by yoga professionals in Canada and Europe. For only $ 15, you will practice with the biggest names in the industry such as Shabad Khalsa, Grandmaster of Kundalini, from Quebec, Alice Dugast from Titre Yoga in France, Charlotte St-Jean from Val d’Iseyre, Bhaskar Goswami from Montreal, Marie-Christine Fillion Parent from Rimouski, Marie-Pier Durand from Lac Beauport, Erica Diamond from Montreal, Hervé and Lidjia Blondon, from Satyam Yoga school, Payal Khanwani from Vancouver and Mélody Benhamou, founder of Idolem. We will also donate $ 2 for each class reserved for the BoBeau Coeur Foundation.
