Every year, YogaTribes offers a wide variety of yoga events in Montreal. The most famous one being its Immersive Yoga series. Immersive Yoga is a brand-new type of yoga where you put on wireless headphones that allow you to live a unique and sensory musical experience.
This time, YogaTribes had the pleasure of collaborating with Decathlon Canada for its 2020 Immersive Yoga Series. A total of five immersive yoga classes took place in Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec City. The first two classes were held at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal and they were led by two amazing yoga teachers, Redggy ‘Jupiter’ Nicolas and Yann Bertrand. Andrea Laporte took charge of the Ottawa class at the local Decathlon store while the final two classes of the season, which were held inside Decathlon Sainte-Foy in Quebec City, were coached by Pilates Guru Josée laperrière and Sandra Tremblay.
This is an event passionate yogis don’t want to miss! Which is why participants were able to attend their favourite class in-person and from the comfort of their own homes as classes were broadcasted live on YogaTribes.
YogaTribes and Decathlon Canada were also joined by GoGo Quinoa who provided participants with some delicious and healthy snacks!
Health measures in accordance with social distancing were put in place to ensure everyone’s safety throughout the events. This was a great way to help people unwind, enjoy a few hours of peace and detach themselves from the stress we’ve all been dealing with the last few months.
We can’t wait for next year’s Immersive Yoga Series!
