I loved my experience at studio ELMNT that I went back. Especially, as this studio offers many signature courses that are difficult to find elsewhere. This is particularly the case when it comes to Rhythm Ride & Flow on Saturday morning.
The course lasts an hour and thirty minutes. It starts in the basement. It’s a black room with the ambience of a nightclub that allows cardio-bike sessions while music is playing. Throughout the course, Andrew Bathory, who replaced Natalie Kakon for this course, encouraged us to pedal to the sound of music. What I particularly liked about this course is that it’s offered with Yoga’s philosophy. It breaks to refocus on oneself, intentions, and incentives to focus on one’s breathing, which are integral parts of this course.
We are then invited to go to the loft that is lit and bright; it is where the carpets and the material await us (It’s a nice way of avoiding a break-in for the course!). The proposed positions and course structure are well suited to its concept. On the following day, I had no muscle pain, all thanks to Yoga! I really enjoyed this course, which gave me a boost for the rest of my Saturday. My coach reminded me of the time I was training for two hours on Saturday mornings. The weekend begins on the right foot. While I was on the bike, I was wondering if I could go to Yoga afterwards. The concept of the course was not to burn us out, but rather to energize us for Yoga. It was perfectly adaptable.
ELMNT provides the cardio-bike shoes that attach themselves to the pedals for the perfect experience. I am under the charm of this studio, and if it were my neighbourhood studio—I would adopt it—on the spot. From the service, the teachers, the atmosphere, the courses offered to the premises, everything is perfect!
Andrew’s lived-experience makes his teachings one to follow. You can experience it at #SoundOff2017! It’s promising. For more details, please visit the studio’s page.
Namaste!
